Postpartum Doula Support in
St. Thomas & Elgin County

Hands-On Care for Your Fourth Trimester

The weeks after birth are beautiful, messy, and full of change. Healing, bonding, feeding, sleepless nights — it’s a lot to carry, and you shouldn’t have to do it alone.

Postpartum doula support gives you hands-on, in-home care to make those early weeks softer. From feeding guidance and newborn care to light meal prep and emotional support, my role is to help you rest, recover, and adjust as a family.

I offer postpartum doula services in St. Thomas, London, and throughout Elgin County.

What Does a Postpartum Doula Do?

As your postpartum doula, I can:

  • Support you with feeding (breast/bottle) and newborn care

  • Help you rest and recover by taking care of meals, laundry, or tidying

  • Offer a calm presence for emotional support and reassurance

  • Care for your baby so you can nap, shower, or just breathe

  • Provide resources and referrals when needed

Postpartum support isn’t about doing everything for you — it’s about making space for you to heal and bond while feeling supported.

My Approach

I come to this work as a birth doula, manual osteopath, massage therapist, yoga teacher, and mother of two. I understand how much the early weeks ask of your body and mind, and I bring both knowledge and empathy to my care.

This isn’t babysitting or housework — it’s professional, holistic postpartum care rooted in the belief that every family deserves support.

Why Pair Postpartum Doula Care With Osteopathy?

Many families I support also choose osteopathy treatments — for themselves or their baby — as part of their postpartum recovery. Osteopathy can:

  • Help with pelvic floor recovery and scar tension after birth

  • Support better sleep, digestion, and balance in the early weeks

  • Ease feeding challenges, colic, tongue / lip ties, or general tension in babies after birth

Together, doula and osteopathic care create a full-circle approach to recovery, bonding, and adjustment.
